WASA Global is a small club that focuses on player development using licensed coaches and trainers with extensive soccer experience. We are committed to developing each player to their greatest potential by working hard and keeping it fun. Our goal is for players to grow not only in soccer skills, but also in life skills such as discipline, self confidence and sportsmanship.

Global is sponsored by WASA – Westerville Amateur Soccer Association.
Home games are played at WASA fields.
All of the age groups participate in the Mid Ohio Select Soccer League (MOSSL).

We now have Boys team in the U9, U12, and U14 age groups.
We have Girls teams in the U9, U14 and U16 age groups.

The director of the club is Orlando Castro. Orlando provides most of the training for the Global teams. Orlando is a former first division professional soccer player having played professionally in both Bolivia and Spain. He has his “A” Coaching License from South America. He has been coaching since 1978 at the High School and Club levels. Orlando has the ability to demonstrate as well as teach all of the skills required of a quality soccer player. He will put a major emphasis on ball control which is one of the most important aspects of the game. Orlando believes that all children have potential. He encourages them to keep a positive attitude, and to be willing to put in the time and effort required to improve.
